Good afternoon, this is Dr. Scott Murder at Coastal Podiatry Associates. May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. If you have any abnormal moles or discolorations on your skin, we do see skin cancer on the feet, including malignant melanoma. If you have any unusual marks on your skin, you should have them checked and tested, which may include a biopsy. We perform these procedures here in the office quite frequently and can diagnose your lesion.
