Chronic Ankle Instability

  2. Stretching: Stretching the Achilles tendon and calf muscle to maintain flexibility.

  4. Use Braces or Orthotics: Custom orthotics or braces can provide extra support and help prevent the ankle from rolling.
  5. Avoid Risky Activity: Be cautious of activities that involve uneven surfaces.
  6. Warm-up Before Activity: Always properly warm up before physical activity.
  7. Maintain a Healthy Weight: Excess weight can put extra strain on your ankles. 
  8. Listen to Your Body: Take a break if you feel extra pain or discomfort.
  9. Regular Check-ups with Your Podiatrist: A podiatrist can monitor your condition and adjust treatment plans as needed.
