Ganglion Cyst

To identify if you might have a ganglion cyst, be aware of the following signs and symptoms:

  1. Physical Appearance
    1. Visible lump: A round or oval lump on the top or side of your foot, near the joint or tendon.
    2. Smooth texture: A smooth jelly-like fluid cyst.ganglion cyst FAQ
  2. Sensation
    1. Pain or discomfort: Some ganglion cysts are painless, while others may cause aching or dull pain.
    2. Tingling or numbness: You may feel these sensations if the cyst compresses a nerve.
  3. Mobility and Changes
    1. Movement restrictions: Since the cyst is near the joint, it may restrict motion or cause discomfort during movement.
  4. Aggravating Factors
    1. Worsened symptoms with activity: Repetitive motions or pressure on the area can often worsen symptoms.
